Smart Tags use intelligence to read an article and tag it by topic automatically, so your feed organizes itself without manual work. They work right alongside the tags you create yourself.
Smart Tags are optional. When off, your existing tags are kept, but no new tags are generated automatically.
How it works
Newsbin scans new articles and applies topic tags based on their content. Those tags feed directly into your smart groups and blocklists, making both far more powerful — an “Apple” smart group or a “sports” blocklist fills itself.
Manual tags still work
You can add, edit, and remove your own tags anytime. See Tags for manual tagging.
Privacy
Tagging is processed on your device, or through the provider you’ve chosen. See Privacy.
